Vincent Searcy

Born in Atlanta, GA, Vincent Searcy is one of Atlanta’s very own respected industry shakers. In his college years Searcy was a basketball player. With an athlete mentality he applied the importance of loyalty, teamwork, and consistency into his passion for the music business. Similar to a coach, he helped discover and develop many notable talents.

Searcy transitioned the values he learned from basketball and found his niche in the music world in the early 2000’s as he started Crown World Entertainment.  Which would eventually lead him down a lucrative path in artist management.  Searcy has managed notable artists from Rico Love, K. Michelle, Jacob Latimore and actors Justin Martin and Alix Lapri.

In 2010, Searcy secured a production deal for CWE with Jive Records then turned to RCA Records.  Success only grew from there for this silent force.  The passion and drive behind Searcy’s executive career is captured through various projects and collaborations with the likes of Teddy Riley, Omarion and Brent Faiyaz.

That same year Crown World Publishing was birthed after landing a co-publishing venture with Sony ATV Music Publishing for songwriter Tiyon “TC” Christian.

In 2018 Searcy shifted his focus to learning the lucrative music catalog business, under the mentorship of the late Jeremy Geffen. Searcy’s passion, experience, and expertise for negotiating, securing, and closing catalog deals caught the attention of Harbourview Equity Partners in 2021. The company onboarded Searcy on as an Acquisition Advisor. To date,  he has played  apart in bidding on over a half of a billion dollars in catalog acquisitions.

May 2023, Searcy acquired distribution company Indie Distro. “The opportunity was a no brainer for me, distribution  is one of the most important pieces to the music business puzzle. I am excited to launch CWE Distro.

CWE Distro is a world-wide media distribution company, a home for independent artists, labels and music producers. CWE Distro will provide access to industry-leading music distribution services, such as Spotify, YouTube Music, iTunes, Google Play, TikTok, Amazon Music and more. CWE offers monthly mechanical royalties and advances for those artists and producers that may qualify. We are excited to offer sub-label and white labeling services, digital marketing, and A&R services if needed.
